Cibecue Community

The community of Cibecue is located northwest of Whiteriver (main tribal headquarters) on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation, more commonly referred to as the White Mountain Apache Reservation.  The community has a population of about 1,700 enrolled tribal members according to the 2010 Census.

There are a few businesses and tribal facilities that are scattered throughout Cibecue which are operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe, including the Commercial Center, gas station, tire shop, and the Cibecue Complex which houses many tribal programs and the police sub-station.  The Indian Health Services Clinic attends to the medical needs of the community members and the Cottonwood Gym houses many sporting events sponsored by community members and the tribe.

There is also a post office drop station that picks up and delivers mail through the Show Low Post Office.

All rules, resolutions, and ordinances adopted by the White Mountain Apache Tribal Council relating to the use of tribal lands, i.e. fish and game, camping, hiking, etc. apply to all staff.  If you have any questions or concerns, or require more information, please contact the Tribal Game and Fish office at (928) 338-4385
