Description
Responsible for performing routine maintenance on school water system
Responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks for school buildings, grounds and staff housing

Essential Duties
• Be responsible, reliable, flexible and adaptable to change; regular and on-time attendance required
• Oversee all aspects of water system operation, maintenance, and monitoring
• Perform testing and disinfection of water mains, routinely flush and clean water mains, supervise treatment and assure proper monitoring and control.
• Collect and transport water samples per schedule, keep water plans up to date, keep water records and prepare reports for submission to US EPA Region 9 Representative.
• Assist with maintaining all necessary grounds/maintenance equipment and tools to provide an appropriate level of landscape and building maintenance
• Assist the Maintenance Department with work orders and/or projects

Physical Demands
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pulling, running, and/or throwing Must be able to push/pull up to 501bs and lift/carry up to 501bs Occasional climbing, balancing, and/or use of stairs
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and/or crawl
• Position requires continuous standing and/or walking Ability to perform heavy manual labor
Environmental Conditions
• Occasional exposure to cold, heat, wet and/or humid conditions
• Occasional exposure to noises and vibrations
• Occasional exposure to fumes, mists, odors, gases, dust

Requirements
Required Information:
• Current "RAP" sheet Must be included when submitting an application
• The School conducts Federal, State/Local Criminal background checks pursuant to the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act (25CFR34) AND Public Law 101-360 Title IV Indian Child Protection. Any form that requires to be "Notarized" must have current notary seal/signature/date
• Answer All Questions Completely And Correctly, and signatures where applicable
Oualifications
• High School diploma and/or GED
• Minimum one year experience
• Working knowledge of building and safety codes
• Knowledge ofpublic water system (Testing, disinfecting, and treatment of water system)
• Knowledge of maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC experience helpful etc.) and grounds equipment, tools, supplies and procedures Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal)
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all staff Must be able to work a flexible schedule and/or hours
• Assisting other personnel may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
• Ability to classify assigned work tasks and multitask
• Ability to follow and implement directives
