Job Description:
• Ability to Assist the Cook whenever possible Recipes, portions of food, counting
of servings. In the absence of a cook food service aide must be ready to step up and
facilitate the cooking and food preparations.
• Ability to perform the procedures in food preparation, serving and cleaning up.
Tasks such as take food out of freezer when needed, to set up and know how much to
take out, prepare, cook, serve and clean up.
• Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Environmental Services
Food Handlers Card.
• Able to lift 50 pounds on a daily basis.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Knowledge and experience with school food service Menus
• Knowledge about food safety Code
• Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

The school conducts Federal and local criminal background checks pursuant to the
Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act (25CFR34) and Public Law
101-630
Title IV Indian Child Protection.
